Abstract
Details the journey into an enquiry into student centric education as a process of transformation that started with the work project Aromatawai Wananga, a forum established to inform curricula design, delivery and assessment within Te Wananga o Aotearoa. The author discusses his personal journey of enquiry in relation to student centric education and the thinking that has evolved from this then examines this journey and that of Kaupapa Maori theory, which looks at the three components of conscientisation (conscientization), resistance and transformative praxis (action and reflection).
