Abstract
Finds out whether co-owners of a number of pieces of land might trade reduced access to productive portions of Māori freehold land, for increased access to culturally treasured areas, and to manage the latter using a model that looks to increase cultural values rather than profit. Describes a mapping technique aimed at helping visualisation, and responses to this technique by land owners. Uses three case studies.
